Museum Network of Lotto's Towns
The Marche region is home to as many as 25 masterpieces by the Venetian painter Lorenzo Lotto, preserved in museums and churches across eight different towns—Ancona, Cingoli, Jesi, Loreto, Mogliano, Monte San Giusto, Recanati, and Urbino. These locations are connected through the Museum Network of Lotto's Towns, which was established to promote the Lorenzo Lotto itinerary in Le Marche and the museums that house his works.
